Double Trouble

A concert with Laurie Breakwell and Vicki Roush

Two of Key West’s most beloved singing divas storm the stage of the Historic San Carlos Institute.

The ladies will be featuring a lineup of eclectic tunes from the world of pop, Broadway, the blues and of course, torch songs. With their legendary pipes and magnetic stage presence, they’ll be doing such numbers as “Evil Woman,” “Class,” “The World Goes Round” and Eartha Kitt’s infamous, “I Want To Be Evil” to name just a few.

Vicki and Laurie have appeared together in such shows as the Waterfront’s productions of The Drowsy Chaperone and as the Evil Sisters in Xanadu. Ms. Breakwell received rave reviews for her role as The Lady of the Lake in last season’s production of Monty Pythons Spamalot. Ms. Roush had 2 sold-out evenings at the TWT Cabaret with her incredible one-woman show.

Joining them onstage will be guest musical director, Michael Fauss, who is in town for the Waterfront’s upcoming production of The Producers. The smoking band will consist of Hal Howland on percussion, Mark Rose on reeds, Gary Rivenson on bass and special guest musician, guitarist Carl Wagoner. And tending the onstage bar will be Johnny Neal.
