Rhett Kalman was recently seen at the Waterfront Playhouse in The New Century, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Reefer Madness. Rhett lives in NYC where he recently completed a 7 year stint in the long running comedy, Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding. You can look for him in the upcoming Feature Movie Musical Coming Up Roses starring Bernadette Peters (opening in theaters nationwide in late 2011), as well as regular appearances on 30 Rock, Gossip Girl, and the soon-to-be-released The Smurfs movie. You may recognize him in the short film Fermented made for LOGO and Here TV, but you probably WON’T recognize him as “The Tranny” in the hit movie Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist, or as “Tranny Hooker” on Law & Order (and my family is SO proud!). Special thanks to Rich and Danny for giving me this opportunity, and everyone in Key West for being so warm and welcoming, and to Marky Mark, Ryan, the Staff of Bourbon Street Pub, and all my friends and family for their love and support, especially my BFF Jon-e (who loaned me the Robin Outfit!… lol). This and every performance dedicated to the memory of Grandma, Poppi, Poppa Jack, and Mom… watching over us and giving us all a standing ovation! “ILYABAAP”.
