The Rocky Horror Show will hit Key West on October 19 when the Waterfront Playhouse opens the hilarious cult hit. Performances will run October 19 through October 25 at 7pm. Tickets may be obtained through the web site, waterfrontplayhouse.org or by calling 305-294-5015. Participation bags, $5.00, will be on sale at the theatre as well. (Due to the nature of a live show, only objects in the participation bags will be allowed).
 
The show stars Christopher Peterson (Eyecons) as Frank-n-Furter, Arthur Crocker (Shrek) and Belle Jampol (Young Frankenstein) as Brad and Janet, entertainer Nick Mazza as Rocky, entertainer Donovan Pavlecik as Riff Raff, Kelsey Lakeman (The Producers) as Magenta, Carolyn Cooper (Young Frankenstein) as Columbia, Dave Bootle (Mangoes) as Eddie, John McDonald (Young Frankenstein) as Dr. Scott and Tony Konrath as the Narrator. Directed and choreographed by Tom Thayer, designed by Michael Boyer, Stage Managed by Trish Manley, Projections by Wonderdog Studios with Larry Baeder on guitar, Gary Rivenson on bass, John Sausser on drums, and Thayer on keyboards completing the team. The musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad scientist, Dr Frank-N-Furter,
unveiling his new creation, a sort of Frankenstein styled monster in the form of a physically perfect muscle man named Rocky, complete “with blond hair and a tan”.
 
Tickets are at a premium for all performances with opening night sold out.
