Waterfront Playhouse On the Air will Broadcast SHERLOCK HOLMES at 8pm Oct. 3 in association with US1 Radio.

Adapted in 1938, Orson Welles starred in his own radio adaption of Sherlock Holmes for The Mercury Theatre on the Air. The cast included Ray Collins as Dr. Watson, Mary Taylor as Alice Faulkner, Brenda Forbes as Madge Larrabee, Edgar Barrier as James Larrabee, Morgan Farley as Inspector Forman, Richard Wilson as Craigin, Alfred Shirley as Bassick, William Alland as Leary, Arthur Anderson as Billy, and Eustace Wyatt as Professor Moriarty. Music was conducted by Bernard Herrmann.

For the Waterfront, patrons can look forward to performances by David Black, Ross Pipkin, John McDonald, Laura Richardson, Barbara Mundy, Arthur Crocker, Saadat Chouberry, and others.

Tickets are $20 per person, masks are required, temperatures will be taken and social distancing observed. This show, as with all of the Waterfront Playhouse On the Air broadcasts are available following the show at US1 Radio.com.
