Elizabeth Ledo

Elizabeth Ledo (Heidi Schreck) is so pleased to be making her Waterfront Playhouse debut. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Elizabeth received a theatre degree from Loyola University before starting her career in a production of Morning Star at Steppenwolf in 1999.

Some favorite Chicago/Regional credits include: The Matchmaker and Boleros for the Disenchanted (Goodman Theatre), Uncle Vanya, Tartuffe, The Secret Garden and Titus (Court Theatre) Morning Star, Homebody/Kabul (Steppenwolf Theatre) Amadeus, As You Like It, The King’s Speech, Measure for Measure (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre) Arms and the Man, Eurydice (Writers Theatre) Mamma Mia, Steel Magnolias, The Odd Couple (Drury Lane Theatre)Boeing Boeing, Arcadia, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nitetime (Indiana Repertory Theatre) as well as three seasons with American Players Theatre and 25 productions with Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. In 2016, Elizabeth was awarded a Lunt-Fontaine fellowship where she had the pleasure of doing a weeklong workshop with Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander. TV credits include: Emperor of Ocean Park, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Boss. Film credits include Roadrunner and Dreaming Grand Avenue.

Elizabeth had this to say about the show: “I came into this process not knowing how little I knew about things that are so important to me as a woman. I’m so thankful to Heidi Schrek for writing this important personal exploration of arguably the most important document in our country. I’m also thankful to Patrick and the Waterfront for this opportunity to share this show with the vibrant Key West Community.”
