Mystery Short Story Contest

Mystery Short Story Contest

As part of the inaugural Key West Mystery Fest, the Waterfront Playhouse is sponsoring a Mystery Short Story Contest.

Starting with a blank sheet of paper can be a frightening experience for a writer.  But this time, you don’t have to.  The introduction to the mystery has already been written by Hy Conrad (writer/producer of the hit TV series Monk and White Collar).  You just need to write the ending.

In 500 words or less (not counting the introduction), please complete the story “Check Out Time.” (Click here for introduction to “Check Out Time.”)

Awards will be given for Best Overall Mystery Story, Most Creative Interpretation , and Best Student Entry.

Deadline for submission is May 4, 2012.
