This show hits me rather heavily, after my beloved boyfriend committed suicide right after Christmas in the Philadelphia area, after his ex-wife refused to let him see his little children, just 4 and 8.

Of course it becomes a Key West story, when the father’s lover, is a gay man (me). This show goes there, and addresses everything I had to deal with. Terrence McNally captures the cruel moments that are too often real in today’s world. My boyfriend’s memory will live on in shows like this. Special thanks to Danny Weathers for bringing this poignant and touching show to the Waterfront Playhouse.
