Key West, FL – The Waterfront Playhouse brings its 87th season to a thrilling close with Accomplice by Rupert Holmes, a whip-smart, wildly entertaining roller coaster of a play that will keep audiences guessing at every turn. Directed by Artistic Director Patrick New, this limited engagement begins with a preview performance on April 8, opens April 9, and runs through April 18.
Set in an English country cottage and unfolding with dazzling theatrical ingenuity, “Accomplice” begins as a seemingly classic tale of betrayal and intrigue—but nothing is quite what it seems. Clever, funny, and full of surprises, the play twists and reinvents itself again and again, pulling the audience deeper into its game of deception.
This production features a dynamic ensemble of Key West actors, including Jessica Miano Kruel, Arthur Crocker, Paul del Gatto, and Tori Wheeler, each bringing precision, wit, and flair to Holmes’ intricate script.
Following the suspenseful success of “Wait Until Dark” last spring and the recent musical triumph of “Once”, “Accomplice” serves as the perfect nightcap to a remarkable season- an evening of theatre that is as playful as it is unpredictable.
With its fast pace, razor-sharp dialogue, and constant surprises, “Accomplice” is a theatrical puzzle box that rewards close attention and keeps audiences on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
Due to the limited run, audiences are encouraged to reserve tickets early.
