The Waterfront Playhouse is turning up the volume and inviting everyone back to do the Time Warp again! Back by popular demand, Richard O’Brien’s cult classic “The Rocky Horror Show” returns to the Waterfront Playhouse for a special encore presentation from October 15th to October 25th, 2024.
Directed by Tom Thayer, this encore performance promises all the thrills, chills, and outrageous fun that have made “The Rocky Horror Show” an iconic Fantasy Fest favorite in Key West. Phillip Cole White, fresh off his stunning performance as “Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch”, will take on the iconic role of Dr. Frank N. Furter, bringing charisma, wild energy, and unforgettable theatrics to the stage- perfectly aligning with the lively spirit of Key West’s annual Fantasy Fest.

"With the theatre located On The Edge of the water as well as most productions chosen and designed to be performed On The Edge of the stage, it seemed like a winning title", said Managing Artistic Director Tom Thayer. Although a few productions, such as the upcoming musical The Rocky Horror Show will have more production value, the majority of productions, such as Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, The Informer, Bash, and Trunk Material 2 are created and designed to be performed simply.
Another difference in On The Edge productions is the time.
