Chris Stone has run the gamut of material on the Waterfront stage. Her first appearance was in Godspell, then on to Roxie in Chicago, big-hearted Big Momma in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, doing double takes in Noises Off, the Mormon mother, the Rabbi, et. al. in Angels In America, Part I, and the waiting wife in The Best Man. Also at the WFPH, I Hate Hamlet, Don Juan In Hell, La Bete, The Odd Couple, the Female Version and the KW Theater Festival’s Birthday Pie and This Blood’s For You. A Key Wester since ’76, Chris took off to traipse the Sumatran rainforest rehabilitating orangutans. Upon returning she became a steel-toed landscaping contractor, and also helped facilitate cognitive behavioral healing to our incarcerated at Stock Island U. She volunteers with “Save A Turtle” and “Anchors Aweigh.”
