Tori Wheeler

Tori grew up in Plainfield, Illinois, a small suburban town full of—you guessed it—plain fields where she had ample space to act, sing, and dance. She discovered her love for the arts early through school productions, singing in her church band, and performing on her local dance team. For high school, she attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts with a focus in musical theater, and went on to earn her BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater Training Program. She pursued a double major and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Tori’s time in college was deeply formative—she did professional theater in Minneapolis while also working at the local Trader Joe’s. After graduating, she moved to New York City, where she worked at PwC as an accountant and earned her CPA before returning full-time to her artistic career. She currently works as a ballet teacher, cycle instructor, and Pilates instructor, and is passionate about arts and fitness education. She is also a wedding singer in a band called Overdrive with Hank Lane Music.
