Tom Thayer

Managing Artistic Director

Tom’s musical acting credits include: Godspell, 1776, Titanic, Camelot, Das Barbequ, Sugar, The Boyfriend, The Pajama Game, Floyd Collins, Assassins, Singin’ in the Rain, Chess and Goodtime Charley. Plays run the gambit from Caliban in The Tempest to Father Flynn in Doubt.

He has directed productions of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies and A Little Night Music, as well as Brighton Beach Memoirs, American Idiot, West Side Story, She Loves Me, Candide, The Rocky Horror Show, Long Days Journey Into Night, Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Honk!, Merrily We Roll Along, Thrill Me, Peter Pan and Murder Ballad. As an educator, he taught at New York’s The Dwight School and The Rhodes School as well as a stint at the Metropolitan Museum.

This year will mark his 50th year of directing, acting, choreographing and producing theatre.
