“Souvenir” is a heartfelt, wickedly funny look at the limits of self-perception and the unpredictable nature of friendship — a joyful celebration of life.

Souvenir” is the story of Florence Foster Jenkins who is convinced she is an operatic diva, but in fact, is totally tone deaf. Using her own ample fortune, she hires a mediocre accompanist, Cosme McMoon, and the two team up in the hope of achieving success.   McMoon needs money, and thus is willing to play for a woman who cannot sing to save her life.  Over the next dozen years, their bizarre partnership yields hilariously off-key recitals that become the talk of New York, earn them cultish fame, and culminate in a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall in 1944.
